Heatley out 4-6 weeks (sep. shoulder)

I never said I was happy about him being injured. He broke rules, put himself and Drake in danger, and wound up hurting himself. He'll be back in 4 - 6 weeks. Life goes on.

I couldn't care less. He interfered with Drake and got away with it. Cry me a river.

Another game completely ruined by officiating. Let's boycott the NHL.

    Tie game.

It wasn't. He hit our player 5+ feet away from the puck. It was interference.

    Take that, Emery.

Unfortunately, flipper the flopper is the only one who showed up, tonight.

It doesn't help that Ottawa's defense it quite literally smothering our offense. They are taking our players down and killing our offense and not being called for it.

Watching this game makes me oh-so-happy that Anaheim wiped Ottawa in 4 games last post season.

It is not hard to play well and have a lot of momentum when you can do nearly anything to another player on the ice and not get penalized for it. As long as you are wearing an Ottawa jersey, that is.

Hasek nailed, no call. It's official. f*** THE REFEREES.

Offsides?! What about the ******* tackle?!

As true as that might be, every time a penalty isn't called, the games outcome is potentially affected.

Not 30 seconds before this goal, a hooking call should have been made on Ottawa.

Right about now. But hey, I'm fine with both topics!

I think the Senators are playing the wrong sport. You don't tackle players in Hockey, but you do get a penalty for it... Or in Ottawa, you do tackle in Hockey, and you don't get called for it. Damn referees.

I would like to see the starting shootout lineup changed to something like: 1. Datsyuk 2. Filppula 3. Hudler You can see by the records posted earlier that Zetterberg really hasn't been bringing it home too often. I still have a bit of faith in Datsyuk and his godly stick handling skills. Filppula is (I believe) two-for-two on the penalty shots.

The last thing I would call this game was exciting. It was a round-about wad of trash by Detroit.

So far, I wouldn't call this game exciting.. it's annoying. Wings are running around in circles out there.

That totally should have been a penalty shot.. I won't complain - you do usually have more chances on a power play...

SIR DALLAS DRAKE. Giving Minnesota a taste of their own "crazy" goals.

BS penalty on Cleary. What about the man that took him down and the roughing on Hudler?

Minnesota is obviously getting all the luck in this game. Pure crap. Get Samuelsson off the team. He wasted the last 30 seconds of our power play by throwing the puck right to a Minnesota player then bringing the puck back in offsides.
