Our 4th line is far from settled. As far as I can tell, the only certainty for the 4th line is Miller. The question is: will he play center or wing? Bab's definitely has some decisions to make. I don't think Williams should be playing. He hasn't really served a purpose, and he won't be effective unless he's playing with talented line-mates. That why I say: Miller-Abby-Draper This line may not be much of an offensive threat, but they can be mildly physical and they are defensively responsible. Bout all you can ask from a 4th line eh?

This San Jose Colorado game does not have playoff intensity. Reminds me of the regular season, still I think SJ is going to close it out tonight, despite me yearning for a game 7.

There has not been one person on this board that says that Crosby is a bad player. Where do you get your stuff? Where did I mention anything about Crosby? The East is such a joke of a conference. St. Louis, Anaheim, Dallas, Calgary, and Minnesota would all be in the playoffs if they played in the east.

Luongo is the most over rated goalie that I can recall. He hasn't proved himself under any circumstances, and is a perennial post season failure. I wish he didn't win a Gold with Canada, so I could say that he hasn't won anything. Though, Luongo wasn't, in any way, the reason for Canada's success. That would be Drew Doughty.

Unlike many people on this site, I was a Samuelsson fan, even when it wasn't cool. He has a knack for big playoff goals, and he's not disappointing this year. Also, it would be nice to have a shooter on our team and a competent right handed shot on the PP. Why did Holland not match Vancouvers offer? I was bummed to see him go. So far, my concerns have been vindicated. What do you guys think?

Definitely agree with you on the Hudler situation, but no one saw this coming? Sammy was a 20 goal scorer (I think he was 20 last season?) playing 3rd line mins. It's not at all surprising that he can be a 30 goal scorer, especially when playing top minutes. The wings could have used a shooter, seems most of the wings would rather pass then shoot, and Sammy doesn't have this problem.

No kidding. He was a third liner, and was being paid 1.2 million! THAT'S a bargain.

I'd like to see Babcock really try to create matchup problems with the lines. Especially for game 5 when we don't have home-ice. Howie needs to focus and Lidstrom needs to lead. I'm confident both will happen, and I standing by my original prediction. Wings in 6. They're just making it interesting and taking a funny path.

It really depends on Lidstrom. Will he be back? We won't know until the season is over. Williams definitely won't be back. Bert likely won't be back. May is gone. Lebda is likely gone. Eaves, Abby, Helm, and Miller will all be back and getting raises. Maltby will probably be back, and so will Homer. Hudler will be back. Honestly, I don't see any big moves unless Lidstrom retires. I'm not anticipating any big moves this summer.

So it looks like VS will be joining the Wings game "in progress" and won't show the game until 11. I'm not seeing the FSN feed on my center ice subscription. Is this happening to anyone else? I wouldn't be very happy if I had to miss half the game.

Awesome, I just checked again and I saw it. They must have just updated the listings. I suppose this thread can now be buried.

The CHI/NSH game starts at 8:30. IF, and this is a big IF, they play a low scoring game with few stoppages of play then the game will end around 11:15 or so. But let's be super generous and say that it will end at 11:00 sharp. This means, that we will miss the ENTIRE 1st period, and perhaps the 1st half of the 2nd period, depending on the pace of the Wings game. I just don't understand why the hell the FSN Detroit feed wouldn't be available on the Center Ice package. You would think that the FREAKIN PLAYOFF GAMES WOULD BE SHOWN!!!

How many fans are usually in Phoenix repping the Wings? It looks like it's half full of Wings fans on TV. Anyone know if there will, realistically, be more Wings fans than Yotes for games 1 and 2? I remember going to a Wings game in Florida when they played the Panthers, and there was twice as many Wings fans as Panthers. Good stuff. The white out is stupid when the opposing team wears white.

Wings just need to play and capitalize on their chances, obviously goaltending must be strong. I can guarantee that Homer will have a goal, or more, called back due to interference. There will probably be a "quick" whistle too. Wings gotta overcome it.
