I'm reminded of all the times people here reacted in disgust when fans on other teams' boards called for their players to injure Wings when their team was losing.

The Wings' defencive zone coverage is the exact opposite of what it should be. Everyone swarms the puck like it's Mite hockey, unless the puck is down low in a dangerous position, in which case the other team has all the time and space in the world.

Double bad break there. Cleary might have been able to break up the pass but didn't want to sell out, and then a weird bounce in front of the net. Hopefully this is disallowed.

The Wings have no capacity anymore to clear the zone after one shot. No wonder they're giving up 35-50 shots a game.

Excellent all-around effort from the entire lineup. The Wings should ask Gary to throw them a bone and let them play the Sharks 82 times a season.
