Probably best the series ended 2-2--that way neither team feels anything was settled in the regular season or gets too overconfident. See you in May!

Couldn't be happier with that game. My only nitpick is too many penalties. Outside of those the Wings game them very little tonight. They were aggressive, physical, a little annoying. That's the way we need to play from here on out. And the best part of all: Le Turtle was completely irrelevant.

good for you --you got lucky, and it could have been a lot worse. but if you're basing this on personal experience that's proof by one example. Let's hope Hossa's as lucky as you were.

I said "at least a week". That's the best case scenario. You could be out weeks or months with dizziness and headaches. You could never be the same again. You could never play again. Brain injuries are a funny thing--even what looks like a relatively minor hit can be serious.

is right. A concussion is a brain injury. You are *not* fine in a day or two. If you have one it's mandatory you sit out at least a week, and with good reason. Stepping it up against his former team! He plays well against the Sharks. edit: spelling

Clowe's hit on Hossa didn't look like any more of an intent to injure than did Cleary's hit on Thorton. The play happend fast and Clowe's arms were down--he wasn't trying to hit Hossa in the head

Wings look a bit lulled to sleep at the moment. They need to ramp it back up and not try to sit on this lead.

Hossa really brings it against you guys for some reason.

They're very different players. Leino's production has been very welcomed, don't get me wrong, but that's not what Helm's expected to bring so much. But a more productive 4th line come playoffs is definitely important.

Solid first! It woulda been nice if the Wings could have gotten another PP goal. Man, Hossa looks like he was born to play against the Sharks--he really steps it up against them. That could be huge come May.
