Anybody needing perspective, look at Ottawa in January and then tonight. So many people here are pissed that the Wings won the President's trophy and then had the audacity to lose a game in round 1. Ottawa's about to be swept.

This team is up 2-1 with a chance to put a stranglehold on the series Wednesday. Woulda been nice to do it tonight, but one (or two) losses in Nashville are far from the end of the world. Remember: seemingly half the team is coming off of late-season injuries and will only continue to get stronger as the playoffs resond. Cleary, Flip, Stuart, Homer and Co. have still yet to really get their rhythm back. The only reason to panic would be if we felt like we gave Nashville our best shot and lost.

Come on, people! (if anyone is actually still reading other posts at this point) I'm as pissed about this as the rest of you, but this turning on each other s*** has to go. The series is 2-1. If the Wings win Wednesday, mission accomplished: series 3-1 heading back to Detroit. If they lose, they still have home ice. If they are the team we all think they are, they'll bounce back. Alright--got out of the period. We were all expecting the Preds to turn it on, and they did. 2-2 thru 2 isn't so bad. The Wings just need to settle it down and not lose sight of the fact that they've got a great chance to take a 3-0 series lead in the 4rd!
