Would we forsee a Norris?
-
at http://hockeyleaks.blogspot.com/ though i know its a rumo(u)r site, it calls for Lindros at 1.75 mill. in principle.

Where do you think some players will end up, and how do you think they'll do? Kronwall's up, Hudler's got a good shot, but how are some of the others going to do? I think we could see more from Himelfarb and Manlow now, and if Bootland comes back, he'll get better offensively.

The Leafs really need to get him...with Roberts gone, they need another strong center.

Damn straight....Zubor cares...

And I picked B. Khabibulin is better than Osgood. I'm not surprised.
-
yeah, i kinda reiterated myself there.

B. They did decently, especially to nab some guys with size. The picks for the players from the WHL are okay...but I totally think that some of the European picks could have been used on other players. (Hensick, Syvret, Dan Collins).

Oulahen has good skills, and was the captain of the Battalion. His numbers were increasing, and he kept up a strong defensive game. Quincey was the best d-man on Mississauga and was strong offensively, as well as tough defensively.

Oulahen is a strong Battalion forward. His numbers were on the rise and he was team captain. Quincey was the #2 d-man behind Danny Syvret in London before Bryan Rodney made him expendable. Quincey is a strong, big d-man who can move the puck. Like it was said, he's a 6-2 NORTH AMERICAN defenseman.

Don't forget that one (#5) took the other one (#44) out on a stretcher in the playoffs once.
-
Stevie could use it; we know his numbers are going down, but that would be the perfect boost.

Three-peat. Federer.

I imagine that Buffalo brings up 2-3 guys from Rochester. Toronto will really utilize having the Marlies on the other side of town, making for constant line-up changes and hopefully little chemistry.

Kopecky actually was pretty dominant in the WHL. Which is generally a tougher and more physical league than the OHL. I would say that his "dominance" came from the fact that he was on the same team as Nathan Barrett, who led the league in scoring in Kopecky's 2nd year, and was 9th in Kopecky's 1st year. Now, I will credit Kopecky for being in the top 10 in rookie scoring, and being in the top 30 in overall scoring in his sophomore campaign, but he was helped a lot. The rookie phenom of Jeremy Jackson was also on his team for half of the season, and finished 7th in the overall league scoring. There was also Ryley Layden, who likely helped Kopecky's numbers.

This is why I never agreed with all of the European picks. Don't get me wrong, when there is something there, like there is with Kronwall, Grigorenko, Datsyuk, and Zetterberg, go for it. But why draft a half-unknown European who may show up, when there are amazing OHLers right in front you? I know that Dave Lewis has been to a few Whalers games, as has Lidstrom, among others, but Holland should seriously come down to the rink and watch for either the Whalers or whoever they're playing! If not Plymouth, then take Windsor, Sarnia, or Saginaw!

Deetroit Basket-ball!

American goalie = Justin Garay.

wow. the wings could actually truely say that their top players were homegrown, not a bunch of good vets signed for mucho dinero. Note how many North Americans were in there?
