Filppula centering the second line in the past 2 previous playoff runs had nothing to due with injuries. And even more, Filppula only played half of the playoffs last year on the second line yet still came 3rd in forward scoring (that's both in points and points per game). ALSO, in the second half of the playoffs, he had 8 points in 11 games, good enough for 60 points on an 82 game season. That also matches Zetterberg's point total in that 11 game span that he played on the second line. Filppula is our 4th best forward after Z, Pav and Franzen. The numbers supports me.

Then why in the past 2 years has Filppula centered the second line during the most pivotal games, those being the stanley cup finals? Furthermoreful, he was behind only Zetterberg, Franzen and Lidstrom is points per game last playoffs.

With a top 6 including Crosby, Malkin and Filppula how can we lose?
