Zetterberg Datsyuk Holmstrom Franzen Filppula Bertuzzi Is a much better top six than Holmstrom-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi Franzen-Zetterberg-Cleary Period. We have too much depth to NOT put Filppula in the top 6.

I don't understand why people say we have such good bottom 6th depth, then want to have Filppula on the third line, diluting our top 6.

Do you just,....not watch the games? Or maybe shut your eyes when you see Flip on the ice? They guy can almost look like Datsyuk in the way he can control the puck.

Being 3 points out even after this win really is disheartening. I really hope we can start winning a serious amount of games, particularly because we've got a lot of must win games ahead of us. Let's hope Z and Clears get back soon to give a huge boost. I mean, It's great to have Filppula back and he looks awesome but he's still playing with 4th liners so once we get those two back we can have a respectable top 6. So happy that Datsyuk has 2 goals in 2 games, I hope he keeps it up. Howard is freaking amazing.

I'd say this post is definitely the most accurate. If John Madden can be under for under 2 million I'd love to see him on the wings (I'd even trade for him this season, if possible cap wise), and then whatever left over for the best forward we can get. I'd go for Frolov.

Cleary wouldn't make a big difference, but Zetterberg would.

But I think after the Olympic break Osgood will start getting the large majority of starts to gear up for the playoffs, unless it really looks like we're going to really, really battle for the playoffs and Howard is still out-shining Osgood.

Howard is playing better than Osgood, period. Mr. Brew sums it up perfectly. As for facing the "weaker competition", Howard should have a good test tomorrow.

Turco Pronger Perry Sedins That order. Getzlaf is actually one of my Favorite non-wings. I'd take him for my team in less than a second. I love him. I also like the player Crosby, just not the leagues marketing of him.

I'd love to see Kenny take him on re-entry waivers. Even if it turns out to be a bad choice he can't be worse then Lebda.

I think he's proved about 90% wrong, the other 10% believed in him. I had an absolute about face with Howard, I love him now after thinking he would suck.

Helm has very few offensive instincts. He might be a cleary type who does okay offensively (that said, he won't do as well as cleary does) simply through hard work, but all I see him being a new Draper, except faster. A solid third liner, but never a second liner.
