This doesn't actually surprise you, does it? According to OsGod, Osgood should win the Vezina, Hart, Lester B Pearson, Norris and Art Ross every season and is the only player who doesn't suck.

The way Ozzie seems to be playing at some points (he HAS played really well, I know he has the potential to is and one of the best goalies come playoff time), particularly last night, we're not going to get into the playoffs, unless Howard has an amazing rookie year. There is a difference between not giving 100% and being the worst goalie in the league. Plus, believe it or not, fans like to see their teams win games, and last time I checked, fans are the ones playing player's salaries. I WANT ozzie to be good enough to win games whether it matters or not in the end.

I'm liking Howard more and more, I really hope he turns out to be the goalie the Wings hope he is/will be.

He allowed 2 goals on 23 shots against the best team in the west, for a rookie goaltender playing his second game that's pretty good I think.

All these "it's only x games in" or "there are stil x games left" arguments were used last year when the defense and Pk were horrible and we were winning games with our prolific offense. People were even saying it at the 40 game mark, that things would change....but they never did. This so far has been very similar, except we're not winning games.

Center ice is awesome, I love being able to watch almost any game every night, but it's nowhere near worth $200 per year.
