Howard looks great. There may be some hope for him yet. -
Was able to go to the game today. Howard I thought looked really awesome, he played great. Along with Williams.

I'd put Franzen with Z and Cleary and try Datsyuk with Bertuzzi. For some reason I think Datsyuk and Bert would do well together.

It's a legal/clean hit, but I tihnk Phaneuf should have shown better judgement. He already got knocked off balance and his head has below Phaneuf's shoulders, And it was the preseason. It was a great hit though. It's too bad you have ******* in the NHL who cry when a legal check is thrown. -
Why? Because you say so? Obviously a loose comparison for multiple reasons, but in 2009 Z Cleary and Franzen combined for 63 points and +38. In 2008 the ZDH line combined for 62 points and +33. The weak link there obviously being Holmstrom, and yet even so, FZC (I'm lazy) only got one point more than ZDC and 5 +/- more. Zetterberg and Datsyuk are better than any other pair of players on the red wings, and almost in the league. This is a better team when they're together.
