Don't worry, no one invited you. The best lines IMO are with Zetterberg and Datsyuk together and Filppula on the second line, but I don't think babs thinks the same way. He needs to hire me as the line coach.

Not really. Though that team does seem the worst on paper, the teams are pretty even for the most part.

Franzen is soft as a cotton ball. I love him and he's an awesome player, but let's not dream.

Zetterberg Datsyuk Cleary Franzen Filppula Bertuzzi Leino Williams Holmstrom Helm Drapes Eaves Those are the best lines IMO. This past season should have shown that the Zetterberg and Datsyuk splitting experience needs to be put to rest permanently.

I don't think they're going to split them up like that for the season, they're just doing that to have 1 good first line center on each team.

Kopecky doesn't play for us anymore, you can stop homerizing him.

^ lol. But I'm guessing he meant game 4. Even so, there is no reason to say we would have lost if Hudler hadn't scored that goal. And, that goal was his only point in that series.

The wings offered Hudler like 3 million IIRC (maybe even 3.5). After taxes he'll get about 2-2.5 million. Whether he stayed here or went to russia. he is going to be getting a HUGE paycheck. Working full time, 20$/hr isn't that much above the poverty level after taxes. Twice 20$/hr means a lot more than twice a multi-million dollar paycheck. Also factor in that the KHL is vastly subpar to the NHL. He's getting more, but he's in a worse league.

I don't see how your logic works. What does expectations have to do with how good a player is? If Maltby ended up scoring 6 goals in the playoffs is he a better player than Zetterberg just because he vastly outdid what was expected of him (by me anyway) and Zetterberg only met expectations? The fact is 10 players scored goals in the final series, including players who I would have never said would score more goals than Hudler. I'm wondering what happened to Hudler's scoring massive prowess.

Ask Stuart, Franzen, Abdelkader, Filppula, Ericsson, Zetterberg, Helm, Cleary, Rafalski and Draper. Abdelkader scored more goals than Hudler in the finals after playing...oh... 14 NHL games? It's cute when the argument easily goes the other way.
