LOL Lebda's offensive rushes are trash, I don't ever remember seeing anything he does result in a chance let alone a goal. It doesn't take much offensive panache to skate up the left boards and skate behind the net, the only thing he ever does. Usually the only result is the puck coming back into our zone 5 seconds later. Will Flip ever be a Datsyuk or Zetterberg, probably not, but I think he'll be good for 70 points eventually. -

I really just didn't think it needed arguing. What other reason is there to go to russia? He didn't get a big enough offer from the wings - > russia. And think a little? There is NO REASON for Hudler to go to arbitration. Anyone can see that. Holland said it himself, all it did was tie his hands. -

Flip played about half of the games on the third line, the other on the second. It will be a great year for Flip. -

I can't believe Holland would actually want Hudler in a wings jersey ever again. We're not that desperate. I hope we can trade his rights to some bottom feader team for a 1st and a 3rd. -

Yeah such a shame that Holland signed those ex-pens conklin and Hossa. They did s*** for us. We probably would have won the cup without them. GET SYKORA! He could be had for cheap, this would be great. I'd rather have Prospal, but I'd be very happy with Sykora.

Regradless of his intentions, hudler has handled things horribly, put the wings in a s***ty position, and is an idiot.

I think the arbitration is a ploy for the wings to lose his rights so he can go play in russia without worrying. It's stupid to want to go to arbitration just so teams don't make offers, incredibly so. Is it that hard to say "no thanks"? It's pretty obvious what hudler really wants. And that's money - in russia.

Well you can't tell the quality of the turnovers before they're made. If I gave you the choice between a player that is going to give the puck away 10 times versus a player is going to give the puck away 5 times, you'd pick the latter. I'm not relating this to any red wings player, just saying. Does anyone know if Prospal has already been bought out yet?

Which is why Filppula has more even strength points than Hudler? And not good hands? (^ of course that was just luck though) (^ crazy angle goal, and lets not forget the SICK keep in and pass he made to hossa) And lets not forget the two amazing plays by filppula here: He has greats hands. People smarter than (ie the red wings front office) you realize this. -

That is way off. He got 40 points this year with basically no PP time and a checking role for the most part. With more PP time and being on a scoring line, Flip will get at least 65 points this year. -

^ That was my point, but I didn't realize that Kessel does in fact play center. Regardless, I think Filppula is more important to the wings than Kessel. He have a scorer on the line, Franzen, we need someone able to distribute to the puck. -
