I'm sure when people are asked to waive their NTCs that the GM doesn't say"listen up dickface, no one wants your candy ass around here any more. pack your s*** because you're lazy and you suck and if you don't waive your NTC then we'll waive your ass anyway". It's probably a little more diplomatic.

Enlighten us, what aspects of the wings' system does Hossa not excel in? Saying Hossa doesn't "mesh" with the team is just stupid. He looked like he belongs here the first game he played with us. Good defense, hard backchecking, team play and talent. -

What do the people who have actually been around Hossa for the past 300 days have anything to do with this? Throw his 40 goals to the wayside, he DOES NOT mesh with this team. Those 40 goals were flukes. Hossa > Sammy + Hudler. Always. Easily. No doubt. -
Agreed. I just don't think we need both of Stuart and Kronwall, but I'd much arther have kronwall. I wouldn't mind seeing stuart traded at all, though it wouldn't be the "honorable" move. I'm sure he'd be dissapointed.

Goalies are fine, but if we don't sign Hossa I want a second line scorer desperately.

Maybe you can think of a funny joke about the limo accident in 97 too? Isn't his salary 6m+? It would be cool to see him on the wings, but not really realistic.

Minus Crosby and mabye malkin, the pens are a pretty good organization tbh. I'd rather watch the 2009 pens lift the cup over the 2007 ducks.

For real. When was the last time this soft team even won a cup? This roster has no chance of winning a cup ever. That's why the last time the wings won a cup was in 1997, when they had enforcers. -
I think one of the better stories in the playoffs this year was Flip's play. I think he and Zetterberg were our best overall players this year in the playoffs. Flip brought it every night and always looked good. I can't wait for his spot on centering the #2 line next year.

Stu had a bad game, and it came at the worst time. For the most part I think he had a good playoffs. What it comes down to isn't the goals against, but the lack of goals for. We had the best offense in the regular season, but it seems like we had the worst when it mattered.
