So because we're up against the cap that means Ken holland is reckless with FA signings? Maybe the new CBA shouldn't allow multi year contracts.

There is no pun, you're just being an *******. Yes, it makes logical sense, no one is saying it doesn't. But I just don't see how the cap dropping with revenue helps anyone. Al it does it hurt teams that are cap compliant. Maybe at the least you shouldn't have to dump players if you're over the cap, but you you must be cap-compliant otherwise when signing contracts.

I like the idea of a soft cap and then a hard cap above that. It let's teams that can afford to go higher to go higher but it doesn't eliminate the idea of a cap entirely. I also don't think the cap should be able to do down.

I don't think so at all to be honest. He was good yes, but the wings have an un-match talent in making goaltenders look much better than they are. We had virtually no real scoring chances in the first two.

The ref thing does provide some insight into how subjection the was refs make their calls is. Maybe ducks fans though the refs were on our side on 06-07?

I agree here. I want and hope the Wings sign Hossa before Franzen, but I don't think it will happen. And sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but the Wings are never going to trade Flip just to keep Hudler or Franzen unless they're both willing to take significantly less money. Better go to sleep because it's only going to happen in your dreams.
