This is a bit late, but how can Flip not impress anyone? He plays great with the puck in the zone I think.

What do you mean Leino is going to get a "big head"? After playing the GR for the past 4 months I think he deserves some NHL gamers. What is wrong with Leino getting some confidence? I think it's a dumb move.

wingslionstigers, you seem like a smart person so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and guess that you didn't actually just attribute this season's poor performance to the addition of Hossa. Without Hossa, this team wouldn't be #1 in the division right now. Look at just last night..without his goals we don't win. There have been many games like that. -

If we can not trade flip and keep hossa, even if franzen and huds have to walk I'm okay with that. ZDH Leino - flip - hossa Or if we can trade flip and keep either franzen or huds, I'm down as well. Hossa is just so amazing though. :< -

I'd say there is a 90% chance he'll stay up after Z is back. Stuart's salary is still off the books for 7 games or something so I think he'll stay up for the duration.

Hossa is a big body too....wow. And what do you mean it's a lot harder to shut down franzen than Hossa? That's ridiculous. Franzen will never be the player Hossa is when Franzen is playing his best and Hossa is playing his worst. This is fact. Whether or not Hossa will be a better signing for the money is another story. But Hossa is leagues above Franzen, you can't ever argue against that.

You're so right. It's not a big deal at all when a league superstar leaves your team. Hossa means nothing. We should probably just trade him for Jordan Tootoo, we need an enforcer anyway. /blatant sarcasm

Franzen has a good shot and given a good situation he can score some great goals, but that's about it. He isn't very good with the puck. You're entirely correct.

You're just all tingly in the crotch area because downey had ice time. No, it's far from the most entertaining. I'd think about the Pittsburgh game and obviously the winter classic.
