I hear a lot of people talk about Franzen's "big body", but he sure doesn't play like he has one. Hossa is a couple inches shorter but actually uses his body. I'll take Hossa & Huds months before I take Hossa and Franzen. ZDH Hossa Huds Flip ^ Great lineup, I think. Edit: Frankly though it's irrelevant, we're not going to be able to sign Hossa and Hudler or Franzen while having any sort of depth

Really can't say anything bad about Osgood. Going by the replay (dumb night classes...) he didn't play overly spectacular but he made some solid saves. Just unlucky on the last two. The worst is that we've lost 3 in a row. I just hope we don't mess around with the stars on thursday. -
Holy s*** 6 mil cap hit?! 12 years?! Wow! I guess I'll just have to suppress my deep emotional attachment to Hossa and be happy.

Not trying to be, just voicing my opinion. Purpose of site: served. It just seems that Hossa has wanted to be a wing badly for years. Not that Z doesn't want to be but I think Hossa wants it more.

I love flip, he's one of my favorites. I think if he was given a chance he'd do well. He's always impressing me with how he holds the puck in the zone and makes good plays. There is no way he, or anyone on this team, is traded until the playoffs are over.

I'd like to see ZDH together, and then flip with hoss and franzen/huds/clears. Flip is always impressing me and I think they'd be good lines. Either was hoss playing with Z isn't working out.

Anyone remember that 2-0 conklin stop? Not sure why the Defense did that if conklin was in net. Maybe they thought it was osgood?

Osgood's shoulders were about a foot and a half off the ice on the 5th goal, it was an easy shot for whoever scored it. The last goal and the second goal are the only goals I don't expect (though not impossible). Conks needs to be the #1, none of this back and forth trash. give him at least 3 straight.

Osgood and Hasek had the exact same stats last year. The same amount of shutouts. Same amount of wins. all of that. What's the discrepancy between Conks and osgood? 4 shutouts? 1GA/P? .05 Sv5? Same argument, totally different circumstances.
