This TEAM has been bailing out osgood's s***ty play and huge rebounds all ******* game. Osgood hasn't able to bail out the TEAM. And rafski scores. Can we come back?

I think Babs put ozzie in because he is scared of ozzie's ego getting hurt or his confidence going down. Not that I don't think Conklin should have started, but that's why I think he's in.

I believe we're watching Sharks vs Red Wings, not sharks vs Islanders. We have a WAY higher standard than the Islanders. Do you think the wings are coming out of this period thinking "Well, we're better than the new york islands. that's sort of like a stanley cup, right?" That said, I think the period was relatively even. We could stand up a bit more defensively though.

Like you said the superbowl is THE championship game, it places a lot more importance on it and creates an "event" out of it. If the NFL had a best out of three type thing, do you think that there would be three superbowls? No, it's one game with a huge amount of importance. The SCF won't reach that because there are seven games, but if you make the first game of the Stanley Cup Finals an event, it might gain more popularity and become LIKE a superbowl. It's all about the marketing. -

I definitely think playing the first game would be awesome, it would definitely propel it to superbowl like publicity. Then it could be 2-2-2 after that. I think that would be an awesome idea.
