Z and D for the C

I've always liked lilja.

Save (no pun intended) Sammy's goal and Flip's EN, the 3 goals by these two teams were pretty damn similar. If I didn't think the wings will be playing better than they are now I'd say a WCF series would be pretty good between these two. bab's also mentioned that Homer will have to earn his spot back on the first line. I hope be backs that up, Franzen has done way better than Homer on the first line.

I think it should have gone to Crosby, THEN Downey, to be honest.

There is nothing wrong with being excited about a goal and I love seeing players excited (see: http://blog.mlive.com/snapshots/2007/12/homerdatsyuk.jpg), but the way he celebrates them is just so obnoxious, with slamming off the boards and and getting down on one knee and what not is just annoying. Not to say I don't like ovechkin (I love him, actually), it goes for everyone who does s*** like that. I hate it in football too.

Kinda of a random question, but did anyone hear an Ozzie chant around the penalty shot (mostly before)? My self and this guy behind me at least where shouting it. But the guy behind me was really REALLY loud, so I couldn't tell if anyone else was doing it. The crowd was hella loud.

Datsyuk's takeaways and the battles along the boards just amazing. He's an awesome player. It'd be a tough choice between him and pav if we had to give one of the two up. His shot is awesome as well.

How many goals did Lilja directly save last game? One. More than anyone else (cept, dom, obviously ). I can recall at least other other time he did a really god job directly saving a goal. He's prone to mistakes and that is definitely dis downfall, but he really does make many good plays, he just makes bad ones as well. (But many more good than bad). He just needs to smart up a bit (okay, a lot).

Lilja is a good player.

Yeah I'm not saying that I'd do any better, but I'm not a mother ******* nhl player. And I'm not saying he just get up and walk it off and continue playing like nothing happened. Yeah, it was a hard ******* hit. But perhaps if you read some of the s*** I said, this isn't the only time I noticed him being soft. He's taken high sticks to the face like he just broke both legs. Look at that video I posted and see how fast he shut he mouth and ran off. I think you should reconsider the person you think is an idiot between of us. But I guess this is what I get from the cheap off brand toilet paper thin sensitivity on this website.

I tihnk the GMs are saying no to reviewing every single play or something like that, which I'd likewise disagree withwith. BUT I do think a coaches challenge thing should be created with 2 options for challenging a game. I think that would he BS calls like these.

I know but he makes it seem like he just got shot 9 times. He looked nearly unconcious on the ice and was stumbling to get off the ice. And this isn't the only occurrence.

Stuart is playing well, nothing fantastic though. Same with Rafski. We're looking good in general, all lines are doing something. They've been staying in our zone too much for me, but they're not really getting shots off. Just moving it around. Overall Our D is playing pretty well. They're only goal was a bad break for us, shouldn't ahve happened. To joe sounds good tonight. NHL.com works too.
