Overly optimistic people are also annoying. I think we still have a really good shot at the cup this year. We're way better than dallas and the avs, and we're still better. At most we're even. anahiem is still our top competitor, but stuat should definietly help there. I am disappointed at not getting a new forward, but our offense is still up to par. Better than Anaheim's I would say.

Wow. Anyone who says Lilja isn't a good defenseman is an idiot. He plays really solid, and his only weakness (don't get me wrong, it's a big one) is turnovers and mistakes he tends to make. But it's not like Lebda has never turned over a puck Lilja over Lebda anyday.

I've always wanted a nice big hitter. I'm a bit underwhelmed at the lack of getting a scorer, but Stuart's deal was a good one. It doesn't have to be a blockbuster trade.

Save percent doesn't mean anything. Sorry. Regardless, I'm not arguing whether he's the best goaltender in the world right now (not even sure why you even mentioned osgood), I'm just saying that the fact that some people here say he is washed up is ridiculous given the fact he's #1 in GAA. That at LEAST means he's a good goalie, especially given his bad stretch 4 months ago. Not to take any away from Howard though, he's playing awesome for sure.

I really can't say I cared about Ellis, to be honest. :| Not that he's particularly bad, but I just don't really see any potential in him. Like someone said the Griffins will miss him, but not the wings.

Our injuries are really being shown. We're NOT doing a good job getting out of our zone and getting some offensive pressure. Hopefully we'll come out better in the second. s*** break on the goal. Ozzie has been playing much better the past two.

Well okay, let me rephrase my post then: I really think when the wings are motivated and play their best hockey they WILL beat any team, any time. I often see a lack thereof however.

I hate it in football how some players celebrate like they're the king of the world after each ******* tackle, let alone the s*** they do for touchdowns. Player don't need to make themselves look like idiots when they do something good. What he did was pretty funny though. I do think however that that's a ***** way to save on a penalty shot. (Which I'm guessing it was)

Yeah, we're too good for them, frankly. The ducks is much stronger as the hatred is definitely there and we're both excellent matches for eachother. -
Awesome game so far. Looks like Z was really trying to get a goal there. Almost did too.
