Z and D for the C

I wasn't saying ozzie sucks now and dom should start every game until the end of the season. I just said that Ozzie was playing bad and I'm happy Dom was put in. Obviously this loss isn't his fault, but he was still playing bad. I'm not even saying all the goals were his fault. I'm not putting anything on ozzie. I'm sure we'd still be losing if dom was in the whole game. I don't think Dom would have scored any goals. If Dom was in and was playing like crap and he was pulled you'd find me saying the same thing. I'm well aware he was pulled ealier this season. I was as pissed at Dom as anyone on this board around that time.

Losing 0-4 isn't my idea of happiness. But I am glad a poorly performing goalie is leaving so it doesn't get too much worse than it is now.

Couldn't be happier dom is going in, ozzie is play absolute s***. He's making stopping pucks traveling 3 miles per hour on the ice look like the hardest thing he's ever done.

I think ozzie is loking kind of flat tonight..NOT saying the goals are his fault, but that's what I'm seeing. But maybe I'll be prooven wrong before the night ends. Everyone is playing pretty bad though lately. Our passes have been bad.

I would have watched this game if I wasn't working. Unless there is something awesome on I'll always (well, usually) watch a hockey game.

Nah I don't mean clearing it on the ice and getting it blocked, I mean fanning completely and not even moving the puck. Check out the game highlights and right in the beginning you see clearing completely missing the puck and it gets to Alfie and he scores. That happened right before in the same PP ont he other side of the ice. TWICE we completely missed the puck, TWICE we could have completely avoided that goal. This has happened before this year on the PK and it ended up in a goal.

I really hope Babs says something to the guys about their clearing efforts on the power player. Last night TWICE was the attempt made to clear the puck in a row in the sen's first PP and failed which allowed for the goal. This has happened before and led to goals.

I don't get why people say things like "SAVED BY THE POST!" The shot missed, end. If the post wasn't there it would have gone behind the net. You may as well say "THANK THE AIR THE SHOT MISSED!".

Good game though. If anyone says anything about the sen's third goal I'll find you and kill you. It was a great shot and Hasek couldn't see it.

Franzen Huds Cleary Flip Franzen just hasn't been very good. Like other I wouldn't want tog et rid of him unless I had to as he has at least a bit of potential, but I think he's of the least value (not that he's not valuable). I absolutely love cleary and would hate to get rid of him but I wouldn't lose him over Flip if my life depended on it. Flip is going to be an amazing player in the next few years. His goal last night, like said above, was so absolutely ridiculously amazing I can't add in enough adverbs.

Dom would obviously do better shooting in a shootout than Ozzie.

"everyone who is eligible" Backp goalie would not be eligible. Don't think he'd do very well with those pads and that stick, and they're not going to make him change gear.

It's not like it's a different team when Ozzie is in goal. The team played great when he got his two shutouts as well. And for the record, Dom's last two games have been 3-0 and 1-0. We played good, but hardly unbelievable. Regardless, last post of mine in this thread.

You're right. Dom is the laziest player in the world. He never works as hard as he can, ever. And all this time I was thinking it was someone else? Darn. Yes obviously he is the same player, except his play has improved dramatically since the start of the eason. I agree. It was great that Ozzie played awesome while Hasek was getting his game back.

Bad game for the wings, oh well. We got a point out of it. I think we'll still make it to the playoffs. We won't even remember this after we destroy the Sens. Flips goal was sooooooooooooooo freaking awesome. Him and Datsyuk played it gorgeously.

Ozzie is doing better this season statistically yes but only because Dom had such a horrible start (not to say ozzie would be doing worse, but Dom would be doing better). Since Dom's 3 game losing streak his GAA is 1.36. His perfomance 2 months ago doesn't mean he isn't playing awesome now. Let's not forget Dom is #6 in the league for GAA, including his horrible start. Though Dom is my favorite wing, and though I've always defended him, don't get anything mixed up, I LOVE Ozzie and I LOVE Dom, I'd be really happy to see Ozzie in net if he deserves it when the time comes, I'd be really happy to see Dom in net if he deserves it when the time comes, I'd love to see them alternate, whatever. As long as we're winning and whoever is in goal has a Winged Wheel on their jersey, I'm happy.

Some people are acting like ozzie is head and shoulders better than Dom. It's not like dom sucks. He just got 2 shutouts. If it's anything other than equal, ozzie only has a slight edge. With Dom now just getting back for real within the past couple weeks it's hard to judge 100%, but by spring I'm sure it will be much more apparent. The way I see it we have 2 great goaltenders. Who cares about the playoffs until we get to them.
