Z and D for the C

He needs to work on his aim (or perhaps just WHERE he shoots it), and take less stupid shots. He's not a bad player, but he just needs to work on those couple points. It's so aggravating when he fires it RIGHT to the goalies chest, no rebound chance for that. I guess it's nice when you're looking for a stoppage of play, anyway. He does have a great shot though. Right now, the way he's playing (if he could show some improvement that'd be great) I don't see him as good enough for the 1st or 2nd line player, but I think he's "too good" for a third or fourth line role. He's not a bad player, but I just don't think he fits well in the Wings machine.

Dom's second straight shutout! Maybe a little too close, but I great game I think. Lots of energy, but the wings just didn't execute offensively very well (lots of fanned passes I noticed). Wings played awesome in the last 5 minutes.

Awesome job by Z on the PK just now. The Joe also sounds great tonight.

Hasek is the best. Figuratively, not comparing him to ozzie.

...and the wings played on a back to back night. Plus it's not like the Wing have played their best hockey against the Hawks. Like said though, the next time we play will be a good game.

We have the two best goalies in the league. As long as it's a red wings goalie, who cares?

I can't wait to beat them both.

I don't have anything against him or think less of him for doing it, but it was pretty funny. It's the delay of it coming out I think.

And even when we have an "off night" we're still pretty damn good and have to make the other team work. ;D Great thread.

Also, dom is #10 in GAA in the league, I bet it won't be long before we have both our goalies in the top 8 on the main page. Shame Ozzie lost the shutout. Good game by our team though. Z looked great. Shame I'll barely get the end of Saturday's game, if at all.

I shouted an exasperated "WHAT!" when I saw that. What are they doing on the ice that's taking so long there? Maybe a chunk chipped off or something.
