Apologies. They said dom made 27 saves which would mean 30 shots, but it was only 29 shots. Regardless .89 is better than like, .75 he had against the hawks. That's ridiculous. I need not explain why, anyone with a rational mind can understand that. This is senseless Dom bashing and blatent Ozzie fanboyism.

Thanks ;D I disagree entirely. Nashville outplayed us the majority of the game and that was it. And the Pred's lack of PP Production has no relevance to the fact we needed to capitolize on our PP chances in the first and didn't. The wings need a better Powerplay. It's only when the internet acts like an idiot. I was pissed too about Hasek in his last two games, but you really can't say anything about his performance tonight. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't horrible. I can't believe anyone would say he didn't do better tonight than his past two games, he's making progress and getting his game back. That is what is important.

Dom bashers need to shut the f*** up. This game ended when the Wings stopped playing in the first. Dom played a good (not great) game and our defense was s***ty. If Osgood was in that same position and did what Hasek just did you'd all be jacking off and cracking up. The wings stopped played and Nashville picked it up big time, that's all it is, we'd have lost if ozzie was in net. Dom had a > .9 S%.

It's only 2-2 on 23 shots, jeeze. By the Chicago games statistics they'd have scored 5-6 by now instead of 2. Hasek is playing better than Mason statistically. Although yes I do feel he's giving up a few too many rebounds. Step it up and win 4-2 in the third, Wings.

I wouldn't worry about the Save % until the end of the game. Mason didn't really have many shots when he let one in.

I thought the exact same. Usually after he scored a goal he's blank faced and seems as though it's not really a big deal to him, but seeming him obviously happy about it made it that much better. Hopefully we see more of both Datsyuk scoring gorgeous goals like that and him being as excited as the fans. As for the topic, I love seeing Downey play. He has our guys' back when opponents get too comfortable and once more, he is a relatively responsible player on the ice and doesn't give up stupid plays. I like seeing him and Ellis play and on the same line as they always are working hard get on the other teams D very well.
