Z and D for the C

I'm really not even worried about that. The wings are beating everyone outside of the central division, and the central division is much improved. What does that tell you? The wings weren't putting in as much effort as they needed to to beat the central division teams as they have to play harder than years past. The wings reacted to this tonight, they played a great game today (except Burke's first break-away),and they dominated. There were some bad breaks and like it or not Hasek played s*** and it cost us the game. I'm sure whatever funk the wings are in with the Blackhawks/The Central Division will be done with by the playoffs and we'll be winning in our division as usual, and our goal tending will be worked ouit. If the playoffs were next week I'd be worried, but we have a lot of time yet.

Our team played amazingly.

Star of the night: Dominik Hasek

The second was a lucky bounce, but the first was no luck, just s***ty play by the Wings. Regardless, Dom really should have had them. I'm a Dom fan, and I'm not saying it's his fault, but still. Maybe he should work on closing his legs a bit quicker. Awesome play from pavel and Z.

Don't worry, I know what the Red Wings are doing. They're going to purposefully lose every game to the Hawks, except their last. At that point, the Hawks will think the Wings suck (but only when we play them) and our last game we'll explode with our real skill, and beat them finally. It's all about the strategy. Pretty logical if you ask me. At least Z gets his point.

Red. Granted the Wings aren't the only team with red as a color, but it's way more unique than white. Plus I'm in love with the red helmets, and they'd look bad with white jerseys.

8-0 wings, chelios is in goal and gets all goals, including the 2 open netters at the end. He also fights tootoo, and gets in a fight with Chris Mason after he lets up 6 shots from a goalie on the other side of the ice.

Of course I'm at work tonight....I'll probably be able to catch the last 5 minutes or something though.

What's to stop Chris Chelios from bringing a gun on the ice (THIS IS DETROIT, YA'LL) and shooting the opposing team and winning the Stanley cup game 35-0? I'm serious, now.

I don't even think we have to start worrying about it too much even then, as secondary scoring is beginning to pick up. And yes of course Zetterberg is going to slow down, but that doesn't take away from how awesome his si doing now, and will likely continue doing amazing.
