The Phoenix player had the ice before Jimmy did. It really isn't interference. If that was ground for calling a goal off, then a goalie could just bump into an opposing player to get a goal called off or something. In Homer's disallowed goal, he did back up into the goalie. -

I really do hate always being the one to come to Fil's defense, but Filppula was one of the best players last night. Save maybe one bad defensive play, but I guess he can't be perfect defensively.

Joey MacDonald is not a good goalie by any means, but you really can't blame that third goal on him too much. He waited too long, but it was pure luck that it bounced right into our net. The first goal he gave up was much worse.

Hudler, Ericsson and a 1st/2nd for Bogosian would be a sweet deal. We're overly deep on offense so sending a forward away to shore up our D like that would be sick. Can we afford the cap hit though? I'm much too lazy to check. -

Only a maniacal homer would say that a 4-1 series, where are only win was a against a Sharks team that didn't know they were playing that day, would say that that series could have gone either way. Now I need to make 2 more posts before game time so I can be ready for make my 5kth post for a Filppula goal and fulfill the prophecy. -
Was watching the replay on my Tivo, was half way through the second, and I knew the Wings wouldn't even make it close. I was right. Our defense is horrible. We are SO WEAK on the boards.
