4/1 GDT: Blue Jackets 2 at Red Wings 3

Flip and Farnzen left the game? -
I think that's the best option.
-
Can I change my thread rating?

Yeah, it's pretty much the same. And maybe Kopitar is better than Filppula And whether or not you want to admit it, Hudler has been given the chance to play in the top six yet has never given reason to make Babcock stay there. Frolov is a proven top 6er, Hudler isn't. In fact with the evidence we have, it's logical to say that Frolov would do better on the second line than Hudler. But I do concede that I'd rather have Hudler than Frolov (unless Frolov would sign for like, 2m or something) And AGAIN, I'm not saying Hudler wouldn't be good. I'm just saying, if we can afford it (which it doesn't look like we can), I'd rather have a 4-5m bonafide top 6er over Hudler. That's it.

Not outperforming talents like these: http://www.nhl.com/ice/player.htm?id=8468496#&navid=nhl-search If Hudler was given Crosby's body, Hudler would be twice the player Crosby is.

Right, because I said him coming back would be a bad thing. It would be a bad thing if we don't know whether or not he's coming back by July 1st because it would mean Kenny probably wouldn't do anything in the free agency and we wouldn't be able to get who we wanted.
-
I'm sure Hudler would put up good numbers in the AHL too. Actually I envision him being worse if he come back than when he left due to the slower play there. Hudler obviously doesn't have an "out-clause" in his contract, the GM wouldn't be complaining if he didn't. I think it would be hysterical if Hudler disregards his contract TWICE, once here and once in the NHL. I won't mind having Hudler back but if we don't have a definitive answer July 1st then I hope we move on. It was bad enough his stupid actions handcuffed Kenny last summer and I don't want it to happen again.

Goal stealers
-
That's a no goal IMHO.
-
Looks like a no-goal to me.
-
YEAH BERT DON'T YOU KNOW HOW TO CONTROL THE PHYSICAL WORLD YET?
-
If they lose and Nashville wins at least the Wings' odds to win the cup might go up.
-
I just recently hit 4,000 posts.

More specifics...
-
Sammy's logo hunting has gotten him 35 goals this year. Likely would have gotten 35 if he stayed healthy.
-
His main two pairings for a while were Helm/Eaves and Flip/Miller. When Eaves was out Z got PK time with Filppula.
-
Pens lose in first round Wings in the Cup All else is gravy.
-
We'd realistically have to win every game, and Chicago can't win 3. They'd have to go 2-5-1 or worse. But man it would be sweet.
-
That's ES. 18:14 total.
-
Even more impressive is that our goal differential is now +10.

Babcock: Goaltending the best since I've been here

The best and most consistent regular season goalie? Yes. -
The wings have 14 to 1 odds against winning the cup right now. Those are some pretty good odds for how well the wings are doing (in terms of potential return). I'm thinking of putting some money on there (at least $100), but I'm not quite sure if I can take the plunge. Has anyone taken bets on the Wings before?
-
Can we have Clowe? Hey maybe we can pick up marleau too.
