You need to calm down. You're right, neither are earning their pay, I'm pretty sure I said that my first post, I'm just saying your 7.4 number is skewed.
-
Pretty much. The music anyway, not the vocals.

No, it's not. I may be biased about Flip, but saying he's just a decent third liner is equivalent to me saying that he the best center in the league. It's ridiculous. And the NHL 10 thing was a joke. Har. (But I don't glitch his goals, and he plays with Gagne and Gionta on the second line) And I think I'd go ask Hitler for an objective assessment of the Jews before going to lilja4mvp for an objective assessment of Filppula.

Versus either a borderline useless first line or second line? Separating Zetterberg and Datsyuk you have two options: 1: Franzen/Datsyuk/Homer Bertuzzi/Zetterberg/Cleary 2: Bertuzzi/Datsyuk/Homer Franzen/Zetterberg/Cleary In each case you have Bertuzzi being the #2 guy on his line, and he just won't fill that role well enough. Looks at his last whatever games, he isn't scoring goals. Either of Bertuzzi/Datsyuk/Homer or Bertuzzi/Zetterberg/Cleary will not be good, the former being a little better. Filppula on the third line results in an enormously better third line no doubt, but the top six will get that much worse. And I do think we will have a good third/fourth line without Filppula.

I know dude! That was from like, 20 feet away!

Who did we get for Stuart?

As far as I'm concerned, the "he's getting paid ____" argument comes because of the salary cap. If there is no salary cap then what the players make is irrelevant. But in the salary cap world, the argument is relevant because you can only sign so many players and use so many dollars. If one player isn't producing at the level of his cap hit, then that's one less player or one lesser player you can't sign to get that production. It's the cap hit that matters, not the salary for that year, and Zetterberg's cap hit is 6 million, not 7.5. Or I guess you're just concerned for Mr. Ilitch's pocket book.

SEE IT WAS EVEN OBVIOUS IN 2006!
-
Relative to who? Bertuzzi on our first line is a horribly sad state of affairs. Datsyuk and Zetterberg aren't good enough this year to be separated IMO.
-
He looked like a frickin' baby about to cry his eyes out when Boyle pushed him down after the game. Total *****. Same.
-
LOL, Bertuzzi a great scorer?
-
He's looked much better since getting scratched.
-
I know it makes it seem way more dramatic, but the only number that matters for Zetterberg's salary is his cap hit, which is 6 million. I'm not saying you're wrong, both need to start playing way better, but let's not skew the facts.
-
I'm hoping this.

It hurts to root against Wings players, but I'd love to see the Slovaks win. Go Hossa!

What a ridiculous penalty on the Fins.

What else needs to be said? Case. and. Point.

Holy f*** Malkin is such a god damn *****. He turns it over, and then barely ******* skates back to the defensive zone. I don't care that Canadia is winning, in fact go canada because I want babs and Yzerman to look but, but jesus Malkin sucks.

Zetterberg the best swede in nhl, accoring to Team Sweden players
Z and D for the C replied to a topic in General
I dream of Zetterberg being in the same class as Crosby. He hasn't been since 07-08. -
