why do you and others bring up last year? yes congrats we won.. ozzie was a million times better last year then this year, its a joke what he's doing to this team this year. how can you justify we have to score 4-6 goals a game to win and that's ok cause of our record? do you really feel confident when he's in net? forget about what he's done in the past and look and think what he's doing TODAY. if he's playing bad, why can't we say he's bad? we're realists, that's how I see it. sure there's others on the team who have reeked but no one bigger then him... its unfortuante when you're the goalie you're the last resort and you're the one to get the blame most of the time. with ozzie this year it's clear cut to me and many others.

i totally agree with that post.. but then again we're not "true Wings fans" if we do, lol.. some people kill me. what kills me even more is all the Ozzie interviews, how he keeps on and on about "i feel great, i feel like i'm back to my old self".. ya that's surprising only 1 all year.. did you know that buffalo holds open practice (FREE too!!) on EVERY single game day at HSBC arena? i dont think any team does that in the league but them.

just to further my point look at the NHL attendance numbers .. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/attendance?year=2009 red wings stand 3rd overall (JLA aint doing so bad like a lot of people say or think), but 1st on the road with a whopping 109% PCT ... next closest on the road is the rangers with 100%.

i really dont know the answer to your question.. but wanted to chime in to the topic. has anyone noticed just how much red wings presence there has been this year on the road then in other years.. like this year has been insane as far as "lets go red wings" chants everywhere they play! from colorado, florida, tb, boston, last night in LA .. its almost become a fad to be a red wings fan this year. I LOVE IT btw!

i dunno.. getzlaf looks unstoppable especially when lilja/lebda combo is on the ice. zetts doesnt seem to want to pass to hossa on 2on1's.. i noticed this way too much in the past few games, not liking that at all.

after the game last night against columbus, red wings live aired and had interview with datsyuk.. this was HILAIRIOUS! by chance does anyone have it so i can laugh again? he goes on about his russian christmas and how theres too many interview questions and he wants to go celebrate. classic!!!!!!!!!!!!
