Fwiw, The weekend the Griffins came to town, I noticed that every time someone said "Holy Crap, whose that guy?", it was Pulkinen. The only time Jarnkroks name came up was when someone would ask, "So, which one is Jarnkrok, where's he?". Just saying...I did make a comment on lgw regarding how Jarnkrok was everywhere, then later I realized I was thinking of Pulkinen, I just got the names mixed up.

I figure if they were able to hold on to Lucky Luc, Detroit should have been able to keep Yzerman. But that still doesn't answer the question...

Most Favorite was Ozzie because we grew up together, he has known me the longest. He knows what buttons to push and how to get a reaction out of me. In a funny way. But as the father figure, we called Papa, Joey Kocur. It wasn't untill he became part of our team in 1997, that just put us over the edge.

Macaractacisms: "It's a bad signing. I get it. I agree with it. But it is done. So I'm damn well gonna hope for the best". I think we all had high hopes for this off season, feeling like we are finally free of some dead weight, our Youngins are showin they can hang and even excel, and all we need are a couple key acquisitions and bada bing, badda boom we're right back in the chase. But alas, no...same mistakes are being made...so we're more than a little chaffed. Just trying to come up with something,...not saying it's an effective plan...

How much of this signing has to do with the fact there is no vitality in that locker room. Waaaay too much seriousness, no Drapes, Malts, DMac, Shanny. The Room has to have characters, chemistry, and a certain amount of looseness to it. Got to be a main reason for the signing.
