You guys do know that Hodgson himself was the driving force behind his own trade, right. He was quite unhappy in the organization, amongst other reasons, because he didn't like them questioning his back injury, and he looked at Sedin as 1C and Kesler as 2C and so no top line minutes for himself. He basically demanded out. Kassian was a guy that had always been on Vancouvers radar, so the deal was made.

Damn, now I've got like ten friends that want to see the video. It really was the best compilation of Crosby on all of the internet. There must be someone on LGW that has the capability of accessing the Deep Internet to retrieve that video!

This Canuck team jumped the shark when Sedin didn't give any pushback at all to Marchand. How can you follow a leader like that into battle. Pav and/or Z would have pushed back and scrum would have ensued. They needed more than just Sestito, but I agree they did not need the amount of dismantling Gilli gave them. While that is kinda funny, it said threre was a copyright claim from a "price carey" and about 50% of the video linked in this post seemed to be directly copied from pricecarey video on youtube. Too bad.

I would think they want to get a decision maker (Linden) in position ASAP to be ready for the first wave of available GMs. If they would have fired Gillis back when it was apparent he was in over his head, they could have had a shot at Nill.

Hmm. I guess I'll see just how big of a Wings fan my wife really is. I think it more appropriate to say unsung hero rather than unappreciated. While he doesn't get the glory or the press, The Red Wing faithful definitely appreciate his work in the trenches and his feeds to the kids, etc Maybe just semantics, maybe not, I'm not sure, but that issue aside the meat of the article was indeed fun to read. -
We got manhandled by Boston. Jimmy stoned them enough that we could hang around and persevere when the kids found chinks in Bostons armor. That 3rd line looks quite interesting.
