I was home to Metro Detroit for the holidays in Dec '02 or possibly '03 and people were calling in to the radio complaining of having no young talent to replace Stevie Y, Shanny, etc. The reason the moment was so memorable is because a female caller actually ragged on young little Pavel Datsyuk and referred to him as "Ducksoup". Point is, I guess, even The Magical Pavel Datsyuk had Detroit fans that were for whatever reason quite unimpressed when he was just starting out with the team. It's hard to tell just how good these guys can be. We do know they are winners.

What does that say when a guy does nt click with frikin Alfredsson, I mean if you can't click with him, then good luck.

Thanks so much you guys. My family and I have the good fortune to know my approximate timeline. We can live each day accordingly, and plan for the time when I am not around anymore. Stefan Liv and his family and friends had no such luxury. He was stolen from them in a moments notice without warning.

Caught the replay game on Comcast tonight. They showed Franzen laughing and smiling while talking to Helm and it looked like Helm has no idea what hes saying, replies, "yeah I actually DON'T speak Swedish" we all talked about Nyquist being such a more well-rounded player than Brunner, but now I'm beginning to see he's just as good on the snipe as Brunner. I didn't realize Nyquist led the nation in scoring as a SOPHOMORE! I like the idea of all the Black Sheep on the same line. Ba Ba Black Sheep. The game could have easily been 5-4. Yay Jimmie.
