CBC did a great job of showing Kane totally 100% floating down the ice without a care in the world on Datsyuks goal. It was truly a thing of beauty.

It's all about pace. For the first couple of years new players are getting used to the pace of the NHL game. Smith was a great Defenseman at the AHL pace. I think he will progress and get used to the NHL pace and become the top four d. Hopefully we can survive this playoff learning curve.x

I couldn't believe it when Cleary opted for the dropback pass instead of the close in shot on the gaping five hole. Nyquist or Tatar would have drilled it home.

Did anyone else notice Kronwall shaking hands with his left hand only in the handshake line? As if his right hand is hurting? I expected a lot more push, and a lot more chippyness from the Ducks, even more than the end of Gm 6...I guess you can't blame them for not having the same amount of respect for the 2013 version as the earlier Wing's teams they've faced.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. That team has no character, including him. He was cleared by the doctors to play along time ago but seemed to save himself for the playoffs and everyone was wondering why he wasn't playing. When asked about it, he'd always give bulls***, condescending replies that made no sense. The Vancouver media is ready to let Edler go. I do not want him as a Wing. He is a puck moving Dman that doesn't seem too concerned about exactly which team on the ice he is moving the puck to. Very inconsistant, hasn't seemed to improve over the last few years. Bieksa is a strong physical presence that is not smart enough to know what to do with himself. He has a bad attitude, blames everyone except the man in the mirror. No thank you. Kassian has potential...but we'd better get him before they ruin him. I think we all realize the Sedins have no place on this team for many reasons, including the camparison of (Dats Vs Perry) and (Sedin Vs Marchand--which is exactly the moment when the Canucks "Jumped the Shark"--pathetic--we want a leader, not a hockey glove eater)

I watch those jokers all the time and there is no one on that team I want as a red wing. Kessler dividedthe locker room this year and he is too much of a weirdo to be on the wings. They all have piss poor attitudes and don't have enough class. There is a reason they got swept this year.

Was listenning to the Team 1040 Vancouver tonite on my way to Dairy Queen after the game.(Burrp-excuse me) When they asked which series they would all prefer to watch in Round 2, one of the guys said it wasn't so much as which series, rather which players. "When it comes to playoff hockey, I have a man crush on Zetterberg and Datsyuk. No one I'd rather watch than those two."

Just having Bertuzzi out there makes everyone on the Wings a little bit bigger. It's only 8:30 out here, I'm going to Dairy Queen. And no limit tonite!

I used to think Clowe could work here, until I realized he was traded away because he had a tendency to take way too many untimely penalties and the Sharks are better for getting rid of him.

I love how fast Nyquist tries to stop sliding on his knees and haul ass over to the celebration. I hope the old bear Bert didn't tweak his back jumping for joy at the game winner. I don't know if dominated is the right word: they were awesome in their Offense, but gave up way too many awesome chances to Anaheim. Waaay too many.

Good for Mursak. Take the money, do well over seas, then hope that it works out to be a similar path as Rafalski took.
