Usually in Vancouver there is a lot of racial based gang violence, but tonite it's nice to see all the different races uniting as one for the sake of the riot. I'd have to say it was a toss up between Kesler jersey's and Luongo jerseys present in the riots. The Naslund jersey's should be embarrassed: those guys were too old to be rioting.

I saw that Vancouver citizen do that live on the news. The free safe injection site is not that far away on Hastings St. Hmm. It would have been worse if they won.

We're watching Tamara Taggart on CTV News live overage of the riots, people looting the Coach store, a girl lying bleeding in the street in a Canucks jersey, idiots trying to run over the top of burning cars. I'm 60 or so miles south in Bellingham Washington, at about 800ft elevation and can see the smoke thru my telescope. Whats wrong with people...it's 10:20pm and it's getting worse by the minute.

I finally had to turn off the Team 1040 out of Vancouver. I couldn't take one more caller complaining that the refs weren't calling penalities out of the scrums after a whistle. Have they never seen a playoff game before? God I'm glad our Euro Twins know how to push back in a scrum. They did have two really good callers though. One caller said he really hopes they do not win because he doesn't want this to be the Vancouver team that goes down in history as the first one to raise the Cup. He said the visctory would be "tainted" because they don't deserve it and he's embarrassed by them, big time, he said. The other caller complained about all the other idiot callers. He was awesome.

OK, so in the event that Vancouver does actually win the Cup, who the hell get's the Conn Smythe? I can't think of a guy on that team that deserves it. Maxim Lapeirre? Even though Kesler has been down and out since being injured, they'll probably still go with him because no one else comes close to deserving it. It is kinda cool that the two most likely guys are from Mi. (Kes and Thomas)

Possibly, if there weren't already 1/2 a dozen threads camparing alternatives, but even then you don't have to give the guy attitude. But there are 1/2 dozen threads already comparing all available options and combinations, and like I said, you specifically asked about people's thoughts on one player. Don't get mad at him because he answered your question correctly and it made you look stupid; get mad at yourself. I need to just stay away from your threads because I don't agree with the way you think and your crappy replies you give to people. Your OP only asked for thoughts on Salo, and DetroitFan gave you his thoughts backed up by three sound reasons, and you got mad and pissy with your repsonse. And further more, it's not bridging a gap until Suter gets here, it's wasting money while Salo sits injured when we could be getting good production out of someone else. Yes, it's a quandry, but Salo (or Jovo for that matter) is not the answer.

This is why the little punk gets negged all the time. He asks a question then is a prick to you when you don't agree with him.

The only stop gap measure Jovo will provide is the same as in the 4 game series, he'll stop to watch during the gap in time from when he get's knocked silly and the opposition scores off of it! As far as Nashville mortgaging the farm, the interviews I've seen said that while of course they want to keep Weber, they do have a different budget than most teams and so they realize there very well may be offers they can't match. We should be that offer. Then, (not that it really matters), Nashville moves into the eastern conference to replace Atlantapeg, so Nashville doesn't have to get it rubbed in their faces at home 4 times a season plus playoffs.
