Does Hockeystreams have a "fullscreen" option? I didn't see it last game.

My McAfee siteadvisor says no. Adware and spyware.

I reluctantly agree. They need to s*** or get off the pot. They need a good arse whooping until they are ready to play like the want it. I realize there are two teams on the ice competing that want it every nite...and maybe they need to get kicked around a while so they can get fed up and get back on a mission. Being talented and skilled enough to play lackadasical and still eak out a win with flashes of brilliance here and there is not going to bring the Cup back to Detroit. I hope they suffer for a while and get beaten to within an inch of their playoff life. Only then, will they uncover the will to dominate like we know they can. Go Lightning!

AND they are already 14 pts ahead of Dallas!
-
Like someone posted earlier, they are out Wingin' the Wings. 13-2, with 26 points! 18 goal/goal against difference in only 15 games! Yeah, they're gonna be tough this year. Lets hope they fade as the Wings get it going even more. Or we'll just have to wait and see how it shakes out.

last year there was a good thread on the various types of Hat Tricks attributed to players that had those typical kinds of games. Like, of course, the Gordie Howe Hat Trick; a goal, an assist, and a fight. If there were to be a Marian Hossa Hat Trick, I think it would be a goal, an assist, and a monster slapshot shoot out winner: http://redwings.nhl.tv/team/console.jsp?hlg=20082009,2,115 Oh, and enjoy Kronners little toe drag (as best I can see on my laptop) in the last minute of play. Or would it be two goals and an assist?

The first time I saw the Hitler clip it was called "Hitler Rides A Honda", about motorcycles not hockey, and funny as hell.
-
If Hossa were to have a Hat Trick named after him, what elements of the game would it include?

I'm not a real sports spectator anymore, the only thing I really watch is Red Wings hockey. Point being, I haven't been subjected to the same amount of Crysby hype as most of you, and likewise have not seen his highlights. I would like to see a Crysby highlight video simply based on the fact that I haven't seen much of him other than last years Cup Finals. Also, I have a suspiscion that if he were on a team with great veteran leadership like the Wings, he would be able to be a "Young Gun" instead of a Great Canadian Hope of being the Next One, and he could just play and be great without quite so much hype and scrutiny. But it is what it is.

" Posted Today, 03:08 PM It's kind of a shame, because Avery DOES have some hockey skill and if he dropped the whole agitator/pain-in-the-ass schtick, he could be a really respectable member on any number of hockey rosters. " Yeah, kinda like Rodman after Madonna got ahold of him, and turned him into a self-marketing machine. I don't prefer his new style. He could be successful by his hard work and skill without the marketing antics. I wish he would show a littel more self respect. But then, he's a lot more successful than I am.

I read recently that it is thought that Iginla and Shannahan have both passed Rick Tochet for the most GHHTs. Not specifically known which one has more.

That sounds weird, dude. Crosby is awesome. Crosby is not and may not ever be on the same level as Gretzky. Or Michael Jordan in the NBA. When those two guys played, it was not a question of who was the best. They were head and shoulders above ALL the rest of the players in their respective leagues. You cannot say the same thing about Crosby. Its ok that Crosby is Sydney Crosby and not Wayne Gretzky. He can still be an awesome hockey player.

I especially like how McCarty tries to pick up Lemeux after he's given him a few pops to the back of the head. He tries to stand him up so he can kick his ass proper. What would you have said if some one told you that the first fight to start the chain reaction would be between Larianov and Forsberg?!! Good times.

Hmm. Sounds like the RangersHF boards.

Hello-ooooh! All you midwest guys go to bed already? HAh, its barely 10:00 out here. All those Seattle guys are driving right by my house on their way home tonite, probably right about now. See ya next week.

I thought a lot of the calls on both sides were weak. Maltby's rub out of Mitchell into the boards was a weak call. Numbers smumbers, it was weak.
-
Maltby had a great game. Saw one shift were his forechecking lead directly to a turn over and a Wings SOG, then a good solid hit caused another turn over. He had jump tonite. Praise be to Malts. Hossa is an animal. He forechecks like a possesed beast. He's fast. He leads by example. Luv him here. Filps had a good game. Zetterberg had a serious case of the WInged Wheel tonite; he was flat out flying. Puck possession tonite. Turn overs were way down. Go Wings. Muley, what did you do to get banned?

AND, Quince is among peers as a player on the Kings, not a young green horn paranoid to make a mistake that might cost the Mighty Red Wings a game or something. There is no pressure on him in LA what so ever. Theres a ton of guys 23 and under and absolutely nothing is expected of the team. He's one of the few with playoff experience. He's the frikin man down there. Here's to wishing him well and looking forward to Ericcson moving up next season, along with Leino and Helm.

Sammy must have some pretty incriminating photos of someone in the Wings front office...

Mindfly, I defended you when you've made stupid posts before, and I've given you the benefit of the doubt that you are just slow or a special ed student, and that English as a 2nd language will make you look stupid at times, but alas, this post shows what a simple fool you really are. To attack the fans on this site? For what reason? Lost? We are not the ones asking why Bertuzzi was traded. I could go on...but you've become boring in your idiocy.
-
Yeah, It's really starting to bother me. At first I thought it was kinda cool, similar to being on the ice, but its too close and you can't see play developing as easily.

Chicago Blackhawks 9games, 3W 3L 3OTL 9Pts 27GF 27GA 3-0-2 0-3-1 3-3-3 Day-uhm, thats one mediocre start.
