We haven't won since the Jonas brothers split up. I blame them.

They did blow it, after having a 2-1 and a 3-2 lead. They played like crap in the third and Pav's goal was a miracle. Its been 5 straight games of the same garbage. The team is good enough to tie but not win right now.

This team reminds me of the 2nd Major League movie, when the fan kept saying "they'll blow it in the ninth." They just can't hold a f***ing lead.

I think the shootout is in his head too much. He was doing fine until everyone started saying that he uses the same move too much, so he started tinkering with it and it hasn't worked out. He should just go back to what worked before and tune everything else out. With his skill level he should be dominating the shootout. Come on be serious. I like Helm as much as the next guy but the guy can't score on breakaways what makes you think he can score in a shootout. We might as well put Jimmy out there if he can't stop a goal maybe he can score one.

Maybe start Howard for the first and second and then put Gustafsson in to close the third. Shoot the damn puck in the shootout.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I hate shootouts. I've hated them ever since they where introduced after the lockout. Baseball doesn't decide extra inning games with a Home Run Derby and NHL games shouldn't be decided by a skills competition.

Yeah the line looked good but it won't score much. Helm while a good defensive player won't create enough and Franzen is streaky. Tatar though should move to the 2nd line when Weiss gets back.

My concern is that he can only score rebound goals.

It's disappointing cause the team has looked better lately, if Pav and Z could get just a little help offensively. I believe we would take off.

Like the lines, but just adding Nyquist doesn't make the scoring problems go away though. Its still the exact same team. The guys on the team have to start playing better or we will be toiling in mediocrity all season. Last year I thought we weren't even going to even make the playoffs let alone almost beat Chicago(which lets face it we should have). So I think its too early to predict anything.
