What's with the shouting.

I hate it but I understand it.

Why not change it up and make it blue and yellow instead of yellow with some blue.

I'm really pulling for the guy since we have him for 5 more years, but he seems to get frustrated and gives up on the play very often.

With the D struggling would love to see him get a chance.

I love Pav but he has missed the net on shootouts a lot lately. I think he has gotten a little complacent and needs to attack the goal with more power moves. But would still rather have him up there than anyone else.

I think Smith gets blamed to much for the defense's shortcomings. Quincy deserves a lot of the blame as does Kronwall.

I think you are being way to generous to what we are seeing.

I agree but im not just talking about a net-front guy im talking specifically about re-directing pucks, which we suck at. It helps having more accurate defenseman but you still have to be able to tip a puck and not just block a goalies vision.

Never liked him on the ice, but feel really bad for him. I never want to see anybody really injured.

So.... back to topic..... I don't watch a lot of Panthers hockey. Not even the dual allure of Kopecky and Samuelsson could make me do that. I'm hoping that he'll adjust to our style, but as long as he's working hard, which seems to be the case, he should get it. This is the type of answer I was looking for when topic was started. And to the posters that answered my question I appreciate it.

Back peddling? I've said he looks terrible and I stand by it. If you think he has been great you are as delusional as your post suggests. I also said that I never got a chance to watch him in Florida and asked if I should expect him to be better, and you blew it completely out of proportion. Ridiculous bs? Seriously? The guy hasn't stayed on the boards for more then a few second at a time in eight games. It seems the the only one that I have gotten under the skin of is you, which should tell you something. why don't you read the post again, I said that's the way he looks. whether he's better down the road remains to be seen. And also stating facts isn't roasting the guy, he hasn't looked good. Nobody is patronizing you I just generally recommend you calm down everybody was discussing hockey calmly and you come in with expletives.

I hope he gets better too but let's be honest he hasn't been good on the boards mainly because he loses the Puck before he even gets there. it hasn't been a revolving door he has played with the same players since training camp except the For Abby. Wasn't roasting the guy the whole point of the post was to find out if anybody has seen him play better, take a deep breath buddy.

Winning is great but it will dry up fast if your second line can't produce any points.

I felt his best game was the second Boston game and was hoping he would build of it, but he just seems slow for the wings system.

If they sign him it'll be a minimum of a 4 year deal simply because no one under the age of 35 signs for less lately. I would rather trade him, he has scoring ability but very soft on the boards and disappears for stretches. On the plus side he does try hard, but the fancy moves he tries just don't work in the NHL unless you have lower body strength, like Datsyuk or Zetterberg, Brunner just isn't strong enough. I think he will get better the longer he plays, but we have too many players on this team that have ability but disappear for weeks. I'm looking at you Franzen.

Baby steps I know, but Mule looked like he got his confidence back in OT. Let's hope this game gets him rolling heading into the playoffs.

You're thinking Hudler,Cleary and Holmstrom. But I think those guys plus Holland needs to get rid of guys like Emmerton and Mursak who other then having good speed can't do anything else. You could see this stretch coming from a mile away and still Holland did nothing at the deadline or in the offseason. What is the point of having a ton of cap space if it's never used. Other than a few top players this team is built of a bunch of fourth liners. Thay have needed a scoring forward ever since Hossa left. But instead we are stuck with players that get hot for 5 or 6 games but then are barely seen for a month. Also they need to stop missing the damn net! It's not that small!

My Plasma may not survive another game like this. Complete lack of heart, this team has gone soft all of a sudden.

Less Cute plays and more shots would be a starting point.
