Franzan's contract is way too long, and Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Lidstrom took less to stay with detroit. I agree Rafalski was key but he was from Michigan and got paid 6 million a year. So its not like Holland got a home town discount. I still like Holland but when he finally makes an aggressive move he give E almost for mil. Bieksa and Markov only got around 4 mil and they can actually score.

And when you do you will see it haas nothing to do with nazism, but with the fact that intolerance and bigotry breeds intolerance and bigotry and should not be tolerated in any size shape or form. Most people commenting here seem to be forgetting history, when nobody cared about a small amount of anti-semitism in germany, and then 6 million people were slaughtered. For hudler to be good he has to play on a line were he gets the puck constantly, because of his size and not poor skating he can rarely get the puck himself. He just doesn't fit the Wings system. And playing him on the fourth is detrimental to him and the team, because he doesn't provide any energy or grit. Saying all that I still like him as a player, but I don't see him succeeding her, we now have young players that have leapforgged him and he won't get the neccesary playing time to be consistent.

Of the 5 fights I saw replays of yesterday all but one took the helmet off. And crosby never did.

I don't remember it, but that was one time. And it hasn't stopped him from fighting with his visor on since.

Everybody in the media have been making a big deal out of the Crosby fight, but yesterday I was watching NHL on the fly and they show'd some of his previous fights including the one the other day, and the dude never takes of his helmet. In my opinion he should be admonished by the media and other players for fighting with a helmet and visor on, instead of being praised. His helmet can really hurt somebody.

The biggest problem with our pp is absolutely atrocious puck movement which leads to no creativity and terrible shot selection. That being said,it's only been a handful of games and it should get better at some point. Right?
