I get what you're saying and I mostly agree with you. Except for the statement that teams never lose because of refs. Anyway games about to start lets hope we won't have to talk about officiating again. -

I assume by stripes you mean the officiating. In which case I'm sure the 6 Penguin players in 2009 disagree with you. Officiating matters a great deal, just not as much as we'd like. -
I actually thought trying to play more physical is what hurt them last game. Guys seemed to let their emotions get the better off them, which led to more mistakes. Let's face it, this is not a physical team. The Wings players should forget about playing physical, and instead focus on staying in position.

I want him back, just not as a head coach. Teams? You mean college and minors? This is the NHL. I'm sure he'd be a good coach. Lets just not make him out to be a offensive wizard just yet.

I really would like to see XO given a chance, he might not help defensively but would be an upgrade offensively.

It's really quite amazing how many careers Edmonton has ruined.

I get you're antsy, nevertheless can the season end before we start trading everybody. It's still only 1-1 in the first round. There is an entire offseason ahead, there will be plenty of time to discuss things. -

Overall a pretty good period. The effort is there, it's just the execution that needs to be tweaked. If that happens I believe we'll be fine. -
