Yeah, but to also be fair, if this team had their act together in the shootout-the streak would actually be good. Alas in the shootout it seems the players have their hands growing out of their collective asses.

Don't knock Franzen, you have to work hard to have a -9.

Just when you think that this team has finally figured it out, and Kenny might actually know what he's doing-they have a stretch like this and prove that what we were all thinking in the first place was true.

It was sarcasm, but I defenitaly agree with you about what Helm's role on the team should be. Although I see him more as a 4th line center. But I would still rather move Andersson, he'll bring back less-but he's completely overshadowed by other players on the team.

What do you have against Helm? He's got moxie, and... and... Just give me a second I'm sure I can come up with something else.

The offense has finally been showing up, if we could get the D/goaltending to contribute on a consistent basis-we can really take off.

Too many different players have failed in the shootout for the Wings for it to just be in their heads. Howard's maybe but not the offensive guys.

You would think that after 5 years of shoot-outs the Wings would have figured it out by now.

This is starting to look less like a hockey board and more like Bettman's wet dream... I shuttered when I wrote that sentence, In fact I might not sleep tonight.

If you want to be entertained- disallow cups as well.

Don't forget about Halloween fright night and Turkey Day spectacular, all games will be played outside and in costume.

I turned of my tv when it was 4-1, I guess I missed some stuff. Eh, the loss isn't that big a deal, after the recent hot streak, we were do for a stinker. On the plus side we scored 3 more goals. However, even though we have won 5 of the past seven games-the Wings have allowed 23 goals in that span. That's a real problem, since the offense isn't going to score 4 goals every game for the rest of the season. I'll enjoy the scoring, but the mistakes on D makes me really fearful of the day when the scoring goes in a funk(knock on wood).

The injury bug is back... I'm getting my fly swatter...

Hopefully we can continue the high scoring, it's been one of the funnest stretches to watch in a long time.
