I can see Vancouver doing a Kesler for Spezza deal.

Just saw this, it's drawings of NHL logos with Simpson characters. Love the Sharks logo. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2085851-graphic-designer-uses-the-simpsons-to-redesign-nhl-logos?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial&hpt=hp_c3

Not that I wanted Boyle, I just wish Holland would be more open to trading for players rights; instead of waiting till they become UFA's and missing out.

Go Rangers! Rooting for them for a couple reasons: They seem to be the feel good story, with St.Louis. I also think it will be good for the league if a big market team, from the east coast (not named Pittsburgh) wins the Cup, NY has been hungry for a Cup since Messier. Another reason would be that my Nephew-a huge WIngs fan- lives in southern California and gets flack from his coaches and teammates who are Kings fans. I want the Rangers to win so they would Shut Up and my nephew doesn't have to listen to them celebrate.

With his oompa lumpa height, shouldn't Tatar be in the front? Who's idea was it to stick him in the back?

Only if Van Riemsdyk is included.

Abby named Captain of the Men's US World Championship team

Looking at the roster, he's definitely the elder statesman. Good for him, but still took me by surprise. -

First of, complementing and thanking are two completely different things. Second, I made a sarcastic joke, that you seem have taken as some sort of slight. That's really all I have to say about this. Back on topic, I'm kinda surprised Abby got the Captency, I don't think I've ever heard him being mentioned as a leader in the Red Wings dressing room. -

I would thank him. One is real life the other is hockey, two totally different things. -

I applaud your effort, but after the playoff exit I'm finding it hard to compliment them on anything. Although I guess admitting you have a problem is the first step in recovery right? I'll work through my anger by July. -

Its Belarus, how bad does Dekeyser have to play to look bad? -
I want Michalek, he's quick with a good shoot-a little injury prone, but would look great on Pav's wing.
-
Well deserved, this years team was a mess. Too bad he won't win.
-
I've read plenty, thanks. Like I said there are some posts that are bonkers, but most are well thought out.
-
Well, thanks for setting me straight, although I don't remember being crooked. And while there might be an odd comment on LGW, I think most of the fans that come here aren't stupid enough to think that you can get a star for free.

CLOWNS?!... WHERE?!... Damn it, don't scare me like that- I hate those colorful bastards...

I think we're all aware of Holland's prevaricates... Which is why all this talk is just a fun way to spend the off-season, I don't think anyone on this forum really believes that Holland will upgrade the team in any meaningful way.

You're forgetting to include Weiss a guy that costs about 5 mil a year and has 4 years left on his contract. I really don't want Legwand back, if he was an actual asset he would have been playing top 6 minutes in the playoffs and not rotting on the wing on line 3. He might not be the perfect answer, as he does tend to float, but the guy knows how to hit the back of the net. My biggest frustration with the Wings offensively is that they have no aim, which leads to unfinished scoring chances. I don't think I've even seen a team miss the net as much as the current team does. On a side note I think Moulson would be the better choice.

Frankly I'm getting tired of stop gaps. We can't wait for the kids, there is no guarantee that they will turn out to be good, just look at Kindl. We have been waiting on him to realize his potential for years, and that never materialized. I'd like to see Holland make a trade for a known commodity, even if that includes using our young D prospects to make a deal happen.

The Boston bruins are like a toolbox, with every different type of tool in it.
-
Are you insane? Did you not see what happened when Jarnkrok was traded? Now you want to give up Tatar, Ouellet, a 1st, and Franzen(we are all frustrated with him, but come on)? If that happened LGW will be forced to shut down, and I like coming here. P.S. Didn't mean to get on you, but come on calling that an over-payment is putting it mildly.
-
I think a shot blocker is almost as important as a puck mover, ever since Stuart left the D has been abysmal at blocking shots.
-
I love Kesler, though I'd be just as happy with Moulson or Vanek. Plus I dont trust Holland with trades anymore, he's had a tendency to overpay.
-
Oh yeah Abby is here to stay, I'm just hoping that Holland goes out and signs Moulson or Vanek- I know wishful thinking- and Abby moves to the bottom six where he would do the most good.
