The interesting thing is that it seems that Tatar's cold streak started when Jurco got hurt, maybe it has something to do with Jurco playing physical and creating space for Tatar. So I'd put that line back together and see if some of that early season magic can be recreated. As far as Alfie, I was clamoring for weeks for Babs to put him on the top line; but I Just can't stand Franzen and Alfie playing on the same line. They both seem to wait for the other to give them the puck. Anyway, even though it makes little sense, I think you drop Alfie back down on the third.

You break it up because Jurco has to play somewhere, and I would prefer him play with players he has had success with. And its not like Nyquist's hot streak started when he moved to the Sheahan, Tatar line; he was doing just fine playing with Franzen and Legwand before Jurco got hurt.

No need to fight over who's fault it is, I have no problem irrationally blaming both of you.

Ok, I'm gonna blame this on miscommunication. I didn't say Tatar has been bad, in fact he has had a remarkable year, nor did I compare him to Franzen. The only comparison I made was to their current production at this exact moment. Also I'm not disappointed in either player. Tatar has a bright future, and Franzen is Franzen; I'm not happy but I'm used to his cold streaks.

To be fair he's just slightly less cold then Franzen at the moment.

When Jurco comes back, I'd put Franzen and Nyquist together; maybe goose can light a fire under the Mule's ass. And when the fire is lit, watch out, there might be an explosion in the final couple weeks.

I don't care what the ref said or what the rule says. As far as I'm concerned as soon as the net came off, the intention to blow the whistle should have been there.

Other then a couple shifts early, I really haven't noticed him. But thats to be expected in his first game, and with the team playing from behind.

Franzen is scaring me, he looked really dazed going into the locker room.

The refs are really pissing me, either call every thing or nothing. A little hook gets called and a two hander to the face gets missed. My new phrase for the day selective reffing. I miss the old NHL, when you could beat the s*** out of the other team and nothing would get called.
