Maybe I'm missing something, but to me it doesn't sound like a call out. It sounds like a regular interview, in the same style we've been hearing for months. To me what Kronwall said was much more of a call out, but it's not like either guy used any strong language or tore into anyone. I don't know maybe it's just me, but I don't see anything inflammatory in anything either guy said.

A stopgap will help next year but I'm so sick of stop gaps. It seems like that's all Hollands been doing for years now. Holland needs to stop with the facelifts and get a new face. Pav and Z aren't getting any younger and the window to win another cup is closing fast. Pav hasnt had a pure scorer to play with since Hull, and the D has struggled to put up points ever since Rafalski retired. This team has been begging for an overhaul for years, and maybe after this disastrous season things will change... But probably not since Holland will blame the year on injuries and sign some more "veterans."

Smith seems like a good enough athlete to maybe be able to play forward, but I loathe putting defencemen on offense midseason. We are only 3 points out, I'd rather have Smith sit in the press box; then play 3-5 min at a position he's not familiar with.

Because of a ridiculous amount of NHL time by our prospects last year, Grand Rapids won the Calder Cup, maybe this year they will repeat; once all these players are sent back down.

Tough to argue with that, but just because a player has never been injured doesn't mean he won't have a groin pull in training camp and miss the season. Such is our luck.

I've always loved Michalek, I think with his shot he'd do great with Pav.
