I think he'll resign, and was real good early on; but since being relegated to the third line he's been pretty invisible.

Even with his injuries Gus might be a able to find a starting job next year, and I think Holland will go with Mrazek to save cap space.

I've actually had the feeling all season that Holland will resign Quincey, he hates giving up assets for nothing and he did give up a 1st round pick for Quincey. I just hope that Holland takes a look at this defense and realizes that real changes have to be made; not just patching over some holes.

I think you misunderstood me, by no means do I think that it makes any sense to make Babs the GM. My point was that in sports a lot of times experience trumps education. There have been plenty of coaches/managers that turn out to be great front office guys. GM's deal with assets as well as personnel, same as coaches do. Babs might even make a great GM, but not only does it not make any sense for the Wings to make him the GM, I'm also pretty sure it's not something that Babs would even consider.

And Stevie has no degree at all, which hasn't stopped him from doing a great job. But yeah no way Babs becomes a GM.
