Zata's isn't a playoff beard though. He's had that beard for ages. It shouldn't count. All I can say is, not Crosby's.

Versus using more than 3 cameras to cover a game wouldn't hurt.

I don't think Draper was fined. Ott was fined more for the time of the game he started that s***. He knew the game was over and gooned it up as a result because there was more or less no repercussion with a 5 sec penalty. The NHL should always discourage these sort of actions as much as possible.

The Pens are very beatable 5 on 5 but their special teams are excellent. By far the best in the NHL this playoffs.

Well I think you need to look at this in a less biased view. Osgood butt-ended a player. He could have broken his jaw, or permanantly damaged his vision. It's a very dangerous thing to do. Ozzie didn't want to hurt Ribeiro or damage his vision etc. but he could have. We're lucky he didn't because Osgood would be gone for the playoffs, you can be sure of that.

It hurts my eyes man. Anyway, Lidstrom has won three Cups despite shaving during the playoffs.

Nah, the NHL made the right call. No suspensions necessary. The slash was nothing. And what does Turco have to do with any of this? Seriously, why are so many people bringing up his hacks and trips during the game? They're minor penalties that weren't called. Did you expect the NHL to suspend him to make it up to a few pissed off Red Wings fans.

Agreed. I'd be pissed if it was Detroit. The glove covered the view but commonsense suggest it crossed the line more than enough in that frame. Absolutely no way it wasn't a goal but insufficient camera angles screwed Pittsburgh. Nevermind.

If Ribeiro had've gone about it the correct way and skated to the other side of the net and pushed Ozzie around, maybe thrown a few and later explained why he was so pissed, Ozzie could just as easily have been fined.

Yeah I hate the GTD because it's so hard to discuss the game. If you make a comment to incite discussion it's usually bured beneath 2 pages of "PP upcoming", "Woo PP", "Lets do this boys" etc. and probably never seen. Anyway, back to this game - the Pens seem pretty stiff there. Looks a like a goal. I hope they allow it.

I don't care. Ozzie wasn't injured, we're the better team, Ribeiro has done nothing all series and the slash wasn't that bad.

Ribeiro's a good guy, he didn't intend to hurt Ozzie or injure him for the rest of the series or anything. He just lost his cool - it's probably been a pretty frustrating couple of games for him. We still can't have guys swinging sticks at players - it is very dangerous. The main thing is, Ozzie is fine. Ribeiro probably doesn't need to be suspended a fine will probably do. As long as the NHL does something to stem this sort of stuff.

Yes it would've. Doesn't matter though. Kris Draper is a very important defensive forward. That's why Drake ended up giving him his stick later and Draper broke up the play. But you guys probably didn't know that.

Is that a joke? How many plays can any player in the world break up without a stick? Zero. All you can do is block shots. The better defensive players MUST have sticks.

Yeah I saw it but my only criticism is that he should've given his stick to Draper. He got close to him and a kid shouldn't hesitate to give his stick to someone like Draper when you're on D.
