The "if anything" that you conveniently left out, allows an intelligent reader to infer that my stance is that the reason argued in the post I originally quoted was invalid. I was implying that "If anything, it's more fierce than it was then." Which is probably true. Since then we did have a playoff series against each other that they're still bitter about. Even a moderately perceptive person should fairly easily be able to understand that my intent was to point out the comparatively reduced intensity of the rivalry at the time Forsberg made that quote. Anything else?
