I'm really glad both Pav and Hank have been nominated. They as well as Madden are all very worthy candidates however I have no doubt one of our boys will get it. Which one I don't know. I'll be really happy with either one. Winning the Selke is an awesome achievement - I hope one day they both can get the honour. To be honest, I don't understand how anyone sit and argue that one will get it over the other. Stats just don't cut it, this award is very hard to judge and both D and Z's defensive skills are exceptional. I don't care who wins out of them - they both deserve it.

I thought both Pittsburgh and New York Rangers were good tonight. I think whoever wins that series will make the SCF. I don't rate Motreal as high.

Ugh! I know I'm going to get lynched for this but it's the truth so I'll say it anyway. Bettman can't comission something that is essentially rewarding Avery for his less than honorable actions. For all intents and purposes this t-shirt is an endorsement for Avery and I think it's fair judgment for Bettman to disallow it. Whether or not you think this rule should exist is irrelevant. It does and they must remain consistent in their intent to stop things like this happening.

Look at how much you guys hate Crosby... it makes you say such irrational things. This happens with almost every tip-in goal. It initially goes on the scoresheet to the guy who shot the puck and then once they've reviewed it and know exactly what happened, they adjust the scoresheet accordingly.
