Washington's little Cinderella run down the stretch was fun to watch and I'm really happy for them, but it has caused everybodu to think they're better than they are. Philly is without a doubt a better team and will win this series.

Does that mean Europeans should never have been allowed to come over? Does that mean we should have a 6 team league? Does that mean NHL games shouldn't be televised? The Predators are definitely able to upset the Red Wings. They are a well-coached team and have shown to me this year that they are able to employ and execute a gameplan to overcome Detroit. That being said, an upset is unlikely. For this to happen it would need to be a combination of perfection from Nashville as well as subpar performances from Detroit. Goalies capitulating under pressure, consistent defensive lapses and a disappearing act from Hank and Datsyuk would be required. I can't see this being the case over a 7-game series but stranger things have happened.

If Philly wins tomorrow they'll play the Caps instead of Ottawa. I hope they play the Sens though. Maybe I'm wrong but I really think they'll beat them easily. Ottawa's not great. And I don't rate Paddock as a coach. He hasn't been in sufficient control of his team at any stage this year. He can't rally them in the face of adversity and they just crumble every time.
