Gee, you couldn't have been with her long. I'd recognise any of my ex's in a photo.
-
And Citigroup stocks have gone up more than 10% today at the NYSE.
-
Come on Mack. I usually see you post some intelligent stuff on here. This ain't your best. To say Malkin is the SOLE reason is crazy. He had plenty more support than AO. Sykora, Malone, Conklin and Whitney among others all stepped it up when they had to. Furthermore, the Caps could very well make the playoffs and the topic of the thread becomes moot.

As long as that draft pick continues to get higher and higher I'm happy baby.
-
So we're gonna win the Cup then? This is good news. Thanks for the heads up too man. This early you can still get good odds because those stupid bookies don't even realise that statistically, the Wings are on pace to win the Cup.
-
Haha. Leafs fans. Did you explain to them that they were decent hockey clubs and the Leafs are trash?

I watched the game yesterday against the Ducks and I'm convinced the Sharks are very beatable. The Ducks were awful. They were undisciplined, sloppy and reactive (especially in the 3rd). The Sharks should've won by 4 goals minimum. They did a great job of having the puck but did nothing with it. The Sharks are a very good team and I've always said our biggest threat. But they're nothing to be scared of. If we're supposed to be a champion team, we can beat them.

Yeah really. Every thread LTD posts in automatically becomes interesting.

Wings GM says Chris Chelios likely to be back next year
Doggy replied to zombiewing's topic in General
Chelios is great and I love him but eventually this has to come to an end. We need to give our young guys a chance to develop with ice-time. He still contributes though, which I guess is the main thing. -
We are overstocked with depth at forward right now and you want us to put in a Dman?
-
We should have Downey in there. He's good fo the team.
-
Why be like that for? Playing a team 37 times a week is good for rivalries... didn't you know?
-
Why did the Ducks just get away with running Nabokov?
-
That was dirty. Typical Anaheim-style.
-
Ovechkin was very impressive tonight. He really has been very good this year and I couldn't argue with him getting the Hart trophy.
-
My bad. A team does not really have a GAA, just GA/G. So I incorrectly assumed that was what was being referred to. To answer the question the trophy is based solely on team statistics not goalies. That is, the team with the fewest goals against.
-
Frankie Pietrangelo's save on Stastny was the best I've seen. Anyone remember that? When he was playing for the Pens. Can't remember the year - maybe '90? In the playoffs.
-
At the end of a season there cannot be a difference between the two.
-
Yeah I'm sure a team that misses the playoffs can take solace in the fact they had a better win% than one that did make the playoffs with more points because win% is so important. That's just as good.
-
The reason the NHL doesn't keep track of win% is because it's a completely useless statistic that has no bearing on the standings whatsoever. Pt% is what matters. The NHL has always called it win% despite the fact it is Pt%. Regardless, to be above .500 you must have more wins than reg. losses. End of story. Why would anyone care about win%? It's completely meaningless.
-
That's completely incorrect. Very few teams win 42 games in a season. You need to simply have more wins than reg. losses in a season to have a winning record. Eg. 37-35-10 is a winning record.

Filth.

Really. I'll never forget that because I switched off the TV thinking "How lucky can these pieces of s*** be?". Seriously, the Ducks fans didn't even know what icing was. They thought it was a 3-pt play or something. Anyway... Sure, he stuffed up big-time but he mishandled a fairly fast-moving puck which happened to go back into the net. Toskala sat a waited all day for a slow skipping puck that was on net and failed to get his body behind it.
