Lol. I'm in Fort Wayne at the moment, I'm watching the 3rd period on TV. I want it to go to 7 games because I'll go to game 7 if it does.
-
No. I gave credit to the Ducks for the way they played the neutral zone trap. I didn't complain about Datsyuk, Holmstrom or Hossa nor the disallowed goal. I just think you'd probably put forth a more credible image of yourself if you were able to put together a rational, cotent post without the need to backflip within days.

Nevertheless.

I would imagine it's more so Carlyle is unsure of what to expect in the coming days rather than to keep us fans in the dark. Effective or not, that'd be the reason. Lots of teams do this in the playoffs.
-
I doubt he'll spend much time on the ice with Getzlaf. We get last change again on Sunday.
-
I was unable to think about anything else.
-
I heard Bettman address this yesterday on NHL Hour, he said it's because Yani or something is booked at the Igloo for like three straight nights.
-
Jake Ryan you are hideously schizophrenic. Do you make any unemotional posts?
-
I'm pissed about this. I was gonna see them on Friday night fuggit!
-
That's not the first time Franzen's done that. He's a ***** sometimes. We've spoken about this before. But JW made it seem like he had a compound fracture or something. He was on the ground for what seemed like an eternity.
-
The med staff only came out because he looked like a soccer player out there. Man up, guy.

I'm still wondering why he needed to get stretchered off. I've watched someone play football with a punctured lung. He couldn't at least skate off with help? Stretchers are not very rock 'n roll.
-
He might win this. If anyone appreciates and truly recognises how dominant Pavel was this year, it's the players.
-
I don't have the video but it was 100% definitely Brad Watson behind the net for that goal.

I got real lucky the other night at game 1 and (thanks to HR40) was lucky enough to meet many Red Wings after the game which was a HUGE thrill for this Aussie kid. I never thought I'd be lucky enough to get the privilege. Not to mention make my Winter Classic jersey WAY cooler. Sadly, I wasn't lucky enough to catch Zetterberg, Lidstrom or Stevie but I managed to see Datsyuk, Hossa and heard some interesting words from Andreas Lilja. Unfortunately, he was extremely sombre despite the preceding events of the night. He didn't seem to have a very positive disposition at all. HR40 asked him, "How are you feeling?" and he responded with what seemed like the default answer, "Fine." His face was forlorn and his body language was negative. In response to "We'd love to have you back, do you think you'll be back for the playoffs?" he said, "I hope so." HR40 and I were in agreeance his face said it all though. "Probably not." It was such a sad thing to see, but he looked devastated. Meeting the man himself confirmed the grim things I'd heard a while ago about his injury. On a more positive note, Datsyuk is a really funny guy, he pretended he was going to sign Nik Kronwall's shirt and Nik was amazingly down to Earth. He was chatting with these Swedish tourists for like 30 minutes. Great guy. Hossa was cool too. I also met Darren Helm and I said, "Boy, you just keep skatin' don't ya? And hittin' everything that moves." He was like, "It's all I gotta do." The autograph on the top left is Lilja's. On there is also Flip, Drapes, Maltby, Ericsson, Sammy and Kopecky as well as Dats, Nik, Lilja and Helm.
-
Okay, okay. Let's just get this straight. Ericsson only accidentally touched her boob because she got him to sign her t-shirt. Also, she was the reason we didn't see Hank. Someone tipped him off and he escaped through the vents.

Lol. Most likely. Mike, I agree. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. It'd suck so bad for him. I'd be shattered also. Vladifan, thanks. It was an amazing experience, particularly because I'd always watched them from 11,000 miles away and never thought I'd ever meet them. It was probably the best night of my life.
-
I like Lilja. I'm just realistic about him, unlike you. P.S. - He told me to tell you to leave him alone.
-
Lol. Only thing it's missing is the term "roof-daddy".

1. I thought baiting wasn't allowed. 2. A broken blood vessel is not a slow-leaking blood vein.

While I didn't tape them, I used to watch games later if I had to work as well. For some reason though, I never really had to contend with media or friends spoiling the result. Dog just lucky I guess...
-
Good on him. He has no shot at this award over Zednik or Sullivan though.
-
Ugh! That's annoying. Hopefully, it pops back up.
-
Actually no. You misunderstand, nn. They one does not always mean the other, as is the case with Lilja. That is all.
