CBC just went through the sequence of events that lead to the 5 on 3. The Flyers really can't complain about it. Just the PP that lead to the GTG. That's their only legitimate gripe. But those calls happen all the time, to every team.

Again, it was called because they were on the PP and the same thing was not called on Staal in the Flyers zone.

Obviously. But you can't just can't guys out of the play by slashing their sticks. It's a black and white call. It's probably the easiest penalty to interpret in the game.

The Knuble penalty was a make-up call and it was there.

Watching a team win an OT game with a 5 on 3 sucks but you can't blame the refs for the 5 on 3 call. Giroux shattered Kunitz's (I think it was him) stick into pieces. You can't not call it. Black and white.

Yeah I can't help but laugh whenever I hear kids swear. My nephew, James consistently entertains with his ability to seamlessly drop the 'f' bomb like Dennis Leary. He also morphed it into a new word "f***ery", which I believe is a noun used in reference to a person that has earnt his contempt. Yes, I know what it sounds like, but no it's not another word for HR40's establishment of business. At least that wasn't its original intention.
