I just read that the last time the Wings lost a game 5-1 was last year against the Leafs. The next game Detroit responded by beating the BJs 9-1 in Columbus. Let's hope the Wings come out as strong tonight!

This might sound like a cliche or hyperbole, but that seriously looks like something out of the CHL. It was reminiscent of a Taylor Hall last season. Maybe Hall would score 40 goals if he were drafted by a team in the East like Crosby and Ovechkin were.

I don't even care about his thoughts on the Wings. What I love about him is his hockey knowledge across not only the NHL, but NCAA, CHL and AHL, is second to none. He's not too opinionated and doesn't critique teams like an ex-pro or something, but still seems to make better predictions than most ex-pro experts. I agree, I think the OP mighta read the article hungover or something because he's just so far off-base it's not funny.

What a great article! Not his best, but a great article nonetheless. Bob McKenzie is possibly the best and most humble hockey writer today. Not to mention his scoops are always 100% reliable.

I think the puck was supposed to have hit the post and then the net, which is why it looks that way. Not suggesting it's real, but there was no mistake made there. It clearly hits the bar, the net moves, then hits the twine.

Hey HT001, just FYI -- JF Jacques isn't injured. He's been healthy for over a week now but on loan to Oklahoma. Edit: Also, Steve Mc returned form his injury last game. Did he re-injure his back?
